SAN ANGELO \u2013 At Monday night\u2019s December 8, 2025, \u201cMeet the Cats\u2019 Boys, Girls\u201d Soccer team, the San Angelo Central Bobcats Boys\u2019 Varsity vs Girls\u2019 Varsity friendly match-up, brought out the fiery competitive nature as the Lady Cats won the best two out of three. The first two rounds consisted of kicking the soccer ball into a small goal net.
\nBobcats\u2019 head coach Tony Vu\u2019s Varsity soccer team barely won the first round 11-10. In the second round, coach Briana Caudle\u2019s Lady Cats dominated 16-5.
\nThe third went to Sudden Death, the Crossbar Challenge. The first team to hit the crossbar five times was the winner. The Lady Cats won it, 5-3.
\nLady Cats Soccer team\u2019s Bri Caudle enters her first year at the helm after being an assistant the past three years, 2022-2025.
\nDespite Caudle\u2019s 2025-2026 rookie season as the new head coach, her three years as a CHS assistant, her highly decorated high school soccer career, and her college career as a midfielder have prepared her to lead a talented 20-member squad.
\nAt Central, Briania (Bri) earned three letters while playing under Coach Ben Henry and was a standout midfielder for the Lady Cats\u2019 soccer team.
\nBri earned District Midfield MVP her senior year and was First Team All-District as a junior. In Caudle\u2019s Sophomore year, she made Second Team All-District while breaking the career assist record. Bri was also an Academic All-State in her junior and senior years.
\nAfter graduating from Central in 2018, Bri attended Hardin-Simmons University later that fall. From 2019-2021, Caudle played for the McMurray University Warhawks, where she earned ASC All-Tournament team honors and scored the game-winning goal vs Texas College.
\nCaudle\u2019s Lady Cats soccer team is comprised of 10 sophomores, one junior, and nine seniors.
